Mark Callaway entered the WWF Undertaker in mid 1990 under the management of Brother Love and later took Paul Bearer as his manager. He spouted a fued with the Ultimate Warrior and after that went after the World Heavyweight Title. He beat Hogan for the title on November 27th, 1991 and lost it 6 days later back to Hogan in Texas. Changed his image slightly after saving Elizabeth from Jake Roberts January 1992. Went on to fued with such giants as Kamala, Giant Gonzales and Yokozuna, but could not get the title from Yokozuna thanks to major interference from Mr. Fuji. Fuji's men slammed Undertaker into a casket at the 1994 Royal Rumble and Undertaker vowed to be reborn. Ted DiBiase claimed to have been in touch with the Phenom and after making such statements, the Undertaker began wrestling on cards with DiBiase as his manager.

Paul Bearer confronted the Undertaker on June 20th, 1994 on RAW and realized that this was not UNDERTAKER. Paul's Undertaker faced DiBiase's imposter at Summerslam 1994 and beat him with a triple tombstone sending him back to the world of the fake. On his return from the Darkside, Undertaker had another new look and went on a rampage in the WWF by winning over Crush in a series of casket matches, Yokozuna in a casket match in November 94, IRS fell to the Taker at the Royal Rumble 1995. He pinned Psycho Sid in April of that year and then defeated Sid and Kama as Shawn Michaels' tag partner. Lost to King Mabel at the KOTR that June and then set his sights on Kama, destroying him in a flood of casket matches. Undertaker broke his orbital bone in October and went out until late November and immediately defeated Bret Hart via DQ.

Gained his revenge on Diesel for ruining his chances of Champion Gold against Hart by coming up from the ring at the Hart/Diesel Title match and pulling Diesel under the ring giving Hart the chance to climb out of the cage...this spurred a Undertaker/Diesel match for Wrestlemania XII. Taker survived two Jack-Knife Powerbombs and beat Diesel at that matchup. April of 1996 a fued with Mankind erupted and was settled when Undertaker pinned Mankind at IYH7. On May 28th of that same year, Undertaker was again derailed for a title when Mankind, hiding in the casket, interfered in an I-C Title Casket Match against Goldust. Paul struck Undertaker accidentally with the urn at the KOTR the following month rendering him unconscience and he lost to Mankind. The relationship between the two began to diminish. Mankind again interfered in a match between Undertaker and Goldust in July's IYH and the two fought their way to the basement setting the stage for a Boiler Room Brawl between the two rivals at SummerSlam 96. Again, Bearer struck Undertaker with the urn and they buried their relationship.

Taker then teamed with ex rival, Jake Roberts in a brutal series of tag matches with Mankind and partners of his choice along the way. Demolished Mankind at a Buried Alive match at IYH XI and then again defeated him with Paul Bearer suspended above the ring. Went on to beat the executioner by tombstone in an Armageddon Match....Mankind interfered and the three were at it until police restrained Mankind in a straight jacket. Lost a title match against Sid by countout in January 1997. Was pinned by Vader at the Royal Rumble that month because of Paul interfering again. That same night, Taker eliminated Mankind from the Rumble battle. Went again for the World Title (which was vacant) in a four man elimination but was pinned by Bret hart after Austin interfered. Right before Wrestlemania XIII, Taker interfered in a match and caused Hart to lose his shot with Vicious. Hart attempted to interfere in the title match between Sid and Undertaker but Vicious beat him off the apron only to suffer a Tombstone from the Undertaker who won the World Title for the second time, beating Sid in 21 minutes and 19 seconds.

Paul Bearer blackmailed the Phenom into working for him again by claiming he knew a "secret" about the Undertaker's past. Beat Farooq at the 97 KOTR and the Bearer spilled the beans telling the world that Undertaker's younger brother Kane (thought to have been burned alive like the parents some 20 years ago) was alive and on his way to the WWF. Regardless, he beat Vader with the infamous Tombstone at the July 97 IYH. Lost his World Title reign to Bret Hart at Summerslam that year when special referee, Shawn Michaels accidentally knocked out UT with a steel chair. This began a fued with Michaels and Taker got his revenge at Ground Zero beating Michaels to near death and had to be restrained by a dozen or more wrestlers. Bearer showed up with Kane at the next UT/Michaels meeting in a Hell in a Cell match at Badd Blood.

Following were violent requests by Kane and Bearer for a match against Undertaker to which the Undertaker refused. Was left no choice after being burned alive in his own casket at Royal Rumble and accepted the challenge of his Brother. He beat Kane at Wrestlemania and began piling up victories over him week to week. Again burned him at an inferno match and then Taker went on to help Austin retain the World Title against Dude Love. Then enabled himself secretly locked in a cell with Bearer and beat the hell out of him with kane on the outside. The next night, he broke into Bearer's house and beat him up again but broke his own ankle in the process. Kane and Undertaker finally and temporarily settled their differences and tagged for a series of tag matches. Bearer showed up again after being gone for so long and Paul and Taker obliterated kane calling him weak and then formed the Ministry of Darkness. To this point, we all await Undertaker to forgive his brother and allow him to join the Ministry as he sits outside looking in at the only family he knows.

The man who has become Undertaker's ill-fortunate little brother, was already fighting in him in 1994 when Undertaker was making special appearances for the USWA against GLEN JACOBS, then known as Unibomb.
During that time, Jacobs was a relative newcomer still struggling to make it. Facing Undertaker in 1994 was a perfect idea before he would eventually arrive on the WWF scene in 1995 as Isaac Yankem D.D.S. For alot of his earlier days he was rumored highly as a relative of Sid Vicious; a rumor that is untrue. Actually, Jacobs looks like a cross between Vicious and Callaway -no wonder WWF thought he was a good choice -to be honest, I really think so too. I was really unsure since WWF had twice made it a habit of squandering his abilities (Isaac Yankem & the Fake Diesel as early as 1997).
I must admit that I'm surprised at Jacobs' delivery. He appears to be doing a marvelous job even though he lacks agilities of his so-called "older brother" and his tombstone needs work...but what about Kane's history? We were stunned to find out what we did.
Born on April 21st, Glen Jacobs was actually born in Spain when his father was stationed in the military at Torre De Ardos, a U.S. Military base in Madrid. At 18 months of age, he moved to the United States with his family.
As a youth, he played basketball and football in high school and was always a standout due to his size. He attended Quincy University and later, Truman University on a basketball scholarship and he graduated with teaching degrees.
He was actually given a tryout for the NFL's Chicago Bears several years ago, but they denied him do to a knee injury he had suffered in college that the team felt was very likely to hamper him on the field.
A life-long fan of wrestling, Jacobs decided to put his size to use and take a shot in the dark at a wrestling career because he wasn't satisfied with his current job, get this one.... A substitute teacher! In the winter of 1991, he attended the Manlenko Wrestling School in Florida, which at the time, boasted Dean Manlenko and his legendary father, Boris, as trainers. He soon caught on with the WWC in Puerto Rico for about a year under the name, "Doomsday" before getting a job with Jim Cornette's Smokey Mountain Wrestling before it went under. He was called, "Unibomb" and was often a sidekick for Al Snow (Lief Cassity).
Through his connections with Cornette, Jacobs got the chance of a lifetime to try out with the WWF. WWF liked his size and eventually brought him in as Lawler's less than believable dentist, Isaac Yankem D.D.S. We just wonder how Jacobs put up with it. The gimmick failed and he was saddled into another fizzle as the imposter "Diesel" -Despite two failures and realizing it was probably their fault anyway, Vince McMahon was still convinced that Glen's size and abilities could be useful and had superstar potential. As soon as May 1997, WWF had Jacobs training -often with Mark -for the eventual role of, "Kane". It apparently seems to be clicking.
Jacobs is married and resides in Knoxville, Tennessee with his wife and two step-daughters (he dosen't have any children of his own, so maybe he should take some time off to light HER fire instead...oopps...sorry, sorry! His height is actually just slightly over 6'8", but he wears lifts in his boots when he performs Kane so that he is closer to 6'10" even though WWF claims 7 feet. It's a slight exaggeration.
We want to thank Marcus Mansfeild and Lisa Parrish, who attended school with Jacobs and to Eric who made this available for us to share inside P.N.T. Still after 6 years....the only place for rumor-free, quality information.
